Stormborn!

Yes we have named our rig.

First, yeah we are YOOOGGGE fans of Game of Thrones and let’s face it, Daenerys is a total badass.  Second, well clouds make sense for us.  And third….

FOR THE FOURTH TIME SINCE WE BOUGHT THE RIG, WE ARE UNDER A TORNADO WARNING AND OUR RIG IS SURROUNDED BY A LAKE!

We bought it in late October.  This is late January.  1…2…3….  Everyone in this life says storms are serious and you’re mobile, so MOVE AWAY.  Apparently we consider that idea boring, so we keep moving into the storms!

  1. Wanee Lake
  2. Fort Pickens (twice)
  3. Montgomery, AL

We arrived in Montgomery this past Sunday to gorgeous weather, looking forward to a week’s stay in a very nice place called Capital City RV Park.  You can tell the owners take great pride in this place, neat as a pin, excellent signage, all the facilities you could want and they also have a small lake and a dog park.  Five stars.  Only problem (aside from work keeping us from touring the area’s history much) is this storm.  It started Friday evening, currently Saturday morning, and we are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning.

In the rain.  Again.

I’m hoping it lets off enough today that we can go into the city center and see a little more of this town.

Stormborn she is.
